Green Flag Theory

Feelings and anger

What should you do when you're about to lose your temper?

Why?

Walk away and cool off. Anger can feel powerful in the moment, but punching walls, yelling or breaking things scares people and fixes nothing. Leaving the room for twenty minutes, going for a walk or breathing it out isn't running away. It's control. Come back when you're calm and talk about the problem. Being able to stop yourself is the real strength.
